Dr. Nicole Elger, DMD
Dentist
Dr. Nicole Elger is passionate about making a meaningful impact in her patients’ lives through compassionate, comprehensive dental care. A graduate of Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine, she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree, followed by an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and an Implant Fellowship, all from SIU-SDM. She is currently working toward completing the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine's mastery program to better serve patients diagnosed with sleep apnea.
Dr. Elger’s favorite aspect of dentistry is the opportunity to share her knowledge with patients and guide them toward the oral health they desire. She thrives in a collaborative environment, continually learning from her team and drawing inspiration from their experiences and goals.
Motivated by a desire to rewrite the narrative for those who’ve had negative dental experiences, Dr. Elger is committed to creating beautiful, lasting smiles while helping patients feel at ease and confident in their dental care. She believes that a smile is one of life’s most powerful tools and works to ensure that each patient feels valued and cared for after their time with her.
Outside of the office, Dr. Elger enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, as well as traveling, reading, playing the piano, singing, and attending continuing education conferences. A fun fact many don’t know: she began college on a theater scholarship, reflecting her creative spirit and love for performance.
Jackson
Office Manager / In-House IT
Jackson serves as the front desk and in-house IT specialist at Elger Dental. After graduating in 2026 with a degree in cybersecurity, he brought his passion for technology and problem-solving to the team, quickly falling in love with the dynamic nature of his role.What Jackson enjoys most about his work is the human connection behind the screen. As the first face patients see when they walk through the door, he takes pride in creating a warm, welcoming environment that puts everyone at ease from the moment they arrive. He loves greeting both familiar faces and newcomers, bridging modern, secure office technology with attentive customer service to ensure that every patient receives seamless, top-quality care throughout their entire visit.When Jackson isn't at the office, he loves spending time with his friends and family, hitting the golf course, or unwinding with video games.
Heather
Dental Assistant
Heather joined Elger Dental in June 2026 and is currently applying to dental school, with a goal of building a future in dentistry. In the office, she assists chairside and keeps the sterilization process running smoothly, helping every visit go well from start to finish. What Heather loves most about the job is getting to know patients on a personal level, embracing a holistic view of care that connects oral health to overall well-being, and learning something new every day. Working alongside the Elger Dental team has only strengthened her excitement for a future in dentistry. When Heather isn't at the office, you'll find her spending time with friends and family, exploring the outdoors, traveling, or working on a new crochet project
